Russell Public Library

Previous hours of operation are retained, yet all is new and fresh. Please come and see the new facilities. Our grand opening was December 7, 2008. We have 6 computer stations now, a large children's section, a cozy fireplace seating area, and a new common room that has a large kitchen and handicap bathroom in it. Functions may be held there but there is a sign-up process which must be followed. Contact Brenda Hale for more information or to sign-up.

On May 14, 2013, the Russell Library went "live", meaning we are now fully automated.  To use the library you must have a Universal Card.  This card enables you to check out books, use the computers, order e-books and borrow books from other libraries through inter-library loan.  The card is easy to obtain.  You can get one at the library in 5 minutes.

Open Library board meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM
